• Affordable, Value-for-Money Japanese Food in Punggol Neighbourhood

    Japanese Food at food court prices with Ma La fusion options 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Meshiya at Blk 658 Punggol East #01-10 S820658. We were attracted to their name and affordable prices on foodpanda and ordered the Japanese curry one day. Curry was not spicy to our level but the food was tasty. Happened to walk past today and decided to dabao. We watched how they prepared the food very skilfully, diligently and food was displayed neatly, looks so appetising! You can really see the skill for nice egg in omu rice especially.

    Here’s what we ‘dabao-ed’:

    Close up on the dishes we had today from Meshiya. The curry tasted was awesome! We would love more spicy curry still. Eggs were perfectly done for sure! And look at the generous servings in each dish. We are getting really tired of those stalls at food courts selling Japanese food or bento where the salmon is miserably thin! Do you agree? This is really well worth our money! Will be back real soon to try the other dishes! All looks so yummy!

  • Gaya Geum Korean Restaurant

    We highly recommend Gayageum. for its authentic Korean food in a cosy setting. Reminds of our travels to Korea where we visited some of these restaurants. What we tasted was tasty and delicious. There is a good selection of dishes and price is reasonable too! Vegetarian and vegan options available too! 👍🏻👍🏻 Would love to come back to try again.

    Spicy Chicken Stew served with Healthy Grains. Rice was cooked to a nice texture and soup was piping hot though not spicy enough for us. But still it is really delicious on a rainy day especially.
    Kimchi Pancake – tasty and crispy with lots of veg and kimchi.

    Black SoyBean Sauce Noodles – This is a good vegan/vegetarian option which we like, soy sauce was savoury and noodles were of the right texture. Would prefer to have more vegetables and carrots and add on some protein alternatives if possible to have a more balanced meal.
